Turkey & Hoops!!! 1st Annual Thanksgiving Shootout

A number of teams/coaches and parents have asked us to move our tournament to Thanksgiving weekend to make it  the official Turkey day shoot out on Thanksgiving weekend. We have decided to do this and make it an annual event. Turkey and Hoops, you can’t beat that and If you have family coming into town for turkey day weekend  bring them to watch your kids play some exciting and competitive basketball. All league play will have finished so there will not be any conflicts with league games. Don’t miss out on what is going to become one of the biggest tournaments in town.

Dates: Nov 27th-29th
Location: Salvation Army Youth Center,1351 E. Broadway Road, Phoenix, AZ
Bring a can of food to support St.Mary’s foodbank  and receive a $1 off spectator admission

The Thanksgiving Shootout will feature the top teams in Arizona and surrounding states.  The three-day tournament, which is sanctioned by USSSA basketball, will have six boys’ grade divisions and three girls’ divisions. Each team is guaranteed three (3) games. Tournament format will be pool play followed by a single-elimination championship bracket.

The Thanksgiving Shootout will offer two divisions: Division I which are Elite teams and Division II which are competitive teams.

Deadline to register: November 20

Cost: $295/team

Boys Grade Divisions:

  • 3rd
  • 4th
  • 5th
  • 6th
  • 7th
  • 8th

Girls Grade Divisions:

  • 7th
  • 8th
